Pay contractors.
Stay compliant.
Tax rules, reporting requirements, worker classification, and data protection shouldn't become your problem every time you pay someone.
Swifet handles the compliance behind contractor payments, so you can focus on the work, not the paperwork.
The era of “just call them or yourself a contractor” is ending
From December 2026, new EU rules will make employment classification more important than ever for digital labour platforms.

Italy
Tax authorities have visibility
Your tax obligations generally depend on where you are tax resident and how your activity is structured. Cross-border income can require additional reporting or documentation.
Spain
Your income is still your responsibility
DAC7 gives tax authorities more information about income earned through platforms. Reporting by a platform does not replace your existing tax obligations.
Netherlands
Platforms may report your income
If you provide services through a reportable platform, the platform may need to collect and report your identification and transaction data to the Dutch Tax Administration.
Greece
Keep your tax information ready
The platforms may need information such as your identity, tax residence, transaction details and other data to meet their reporting obligations.
France
You may need to verify your identity
Under DAC7, platforms can be required to collect information such as your identity details and tax identification number — and you may be required to provide it.
Germany
Keep your records in order
Your platform may collect information about your activity and payments. Keeping your invoices and income records accurate makes your own tax reporting easier.
DAC7 is an EU directive that requires you to report every payment you make to creators. It took effect in January 2023. If you pay contractors in Europe, this applies to you.
For each contractor, you must report their full name, address, tax ID, bank details, total payments per quarter, and number of transactions. Reports go to one EU member state, which shares the data across all relevant countries.
